Hey!

I'm Virakshi, a clinical psychologist (M.Phil. Clinical Psychology) with 1+ years and 1250+ sessions of experience.

With a dual approach that places equal emphasis on symptom relief and addressing deeply rooted trauma, I'm committed to helping you achieve lasting transformation and well-being. For immediate symptom relief, I draw upon evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also recognize the importance of delving into the underlying causes of your distress. That's why I incorporate psychodynamic therapies too.

I work with the following concerns- childhood trauma, personality disorders, reparenting, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual dysfunctions, OCD, anger issues, emotional issues, Personal growth, Motivation, Personality development, confidence/ self-esteem issues.

There are no quick-fixes in therapy. It is a slow process but slow progress is still progress.

Know More About Me as a Therapist

Therapy is like "pills". Sometimes, you take it when something goes wrong (medicines) and sometimes you take it to become stronger and healthier to be able to fight when something goes wrong (supplements).

How I think of therapy

I am a trauma informed and queer affirmative therapist. I believe in taking the tiniest steps and sustaining them before taking the next step. For therapy sessions with me, you can expect: a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where you can reconstruct your traumatic experiences with a support system and change their meaning in your life.

How I am as a therapist

Because of my own experience of trauma and the lack of help & support for it. If you were to ask me "If not psychology then, what?" I have no clue. This is my plan A, B & C.

Why I Became a Therapist

When, after a certain time, clients realize that they don't act like they used to, anymore and seeing the sense of relief they feel when they feel heard or seen for the first time.
