Hey!

I'm Shree, a counseling psychologist (MA Counseling Psychology), with 2+ years and 200+ sessions of experience.

With a focus on caste, queer, and neurodivergent affirmative practices, I aim to honor and validate the unique experiences and identities of each person I work with. Together, we'll explore the narratives that shape your identity and experiences, empowering you to rewrite and reclaim your story in a way that feels authentic and empowering. My goal is to support you in finding strength, resilience, and healing as you navigate life's challenges and transitions.

I work with concerns like grief, body image, trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, self harm, relationship concerns, gender concerns, neurodivergent concerns, personal development and more.

Your reflections and feedback about the therapeutic space makes our therapy space safer.

Know More About Me as a Therapist

I often use the metaphor of driving on a foggy road to describe my therapeutic process. Just as fog can obscure the road ahead, concerns can obscure our path in life. My role is to work with my clients to navigate these challenges and find resources that comforts them in their journey, simultaneously re-discovering themselves in the safe space of therapy.

How I think of therapy

As a therapist, I offer a collaborative journey for anyone seeking to navigate unique challenges, build resilience, and pursue personal growth & self-exploration.

My biggest strength is my intention of supporting individuals in gaining insight, building resilience, and cultivating a deeper understanding of themselves, ultimately empowering them to navigate life's challenges more effectively.

My work is focused on creating meaningful change by connecting you to your values, hopes and dreams in life, leading to increase in well-being.

How I am as a therapist

As a child, I grappled with anxiety, especially when I noticed a decline in my academic performance. Despite being a top performer, the slightest dip in grades triggered a heightened sense of anxiety. Through therapy, I learned to identify the presence of anxiety, understand its triggers, and discover comfort. Eventually, I was able to manage anxiety, I also connected to my values and dreams. This transformative process has imbued my life with greater meaning and purpose.

Why I Became a Therapist

The most rewarding aspect of my job is the privilege of witnessing individuals as their truest selves. In the therapeutic space, people feel free to express their vulnerabilities, fears, and aspirations authentically. It's a profound experience to observe their journey of self-discovery, recognizing and embracing their strengths and celebrating their victories, no matter how big or small. The connection established in these moments fosters a sense of trust and openness, allowing for genuine collaboration in navigating life's challenges and promoting positive change. This genuine and authentic interaction is what makes my work as a therapist deeply fulfilling and meaningful.
