I'm Kashish, a counseling psychologist (M.Sc. in Counseling Psychology) with 1+ years and 200+ sessions of experience.

My practice is grounded in the belief that every individual possesses the innate capacity for change and self-discovery. With me, you can expect compassionate and empathetic sessions. I specialize in a variety of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, and Transactional Analysis.

I excel in addressing diverse concerns, including self-love, emotion regulation, anxiety, growth, motivation, depressive symptoms, and more.

It is okay to not feel okay and it is okay to take someone's assistance in feeling okay. Your betterment will always be a priority for me.

Therapy is like having a chat with someone who listens carefully and helps you figure things out when life gets tough. They give you tools and support to feel better and handle problems more healthily, eventually becoming a more authentic version of yourself. Therapy helps you organize your thoughts in a manner that your experiences, feelings, and thoughts seem much clearer to you.

How I think of therapy

As a therapist, I would describe myself as a 'Helping Professional'. Helping would indicate a compassionate, caring, empathetic, supportive, and validating side, and 'Professional' would indicate ethical, goal-oriented, and doing what's best for the client side of being a therapist.

How I am as a therapist

I became a therapist because I am passionate about mental health and helping people live fulfilling lives. I have always been drawn to the complexities of the human mind and the potential for growth and healing, and I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Being a therapist allows me to combine my compassion for others with my desire to facilitate positive change.

Why I Became a Therapist

The best part about my job is witnessing the transformation and growth of my clients. It is incredibly rewarding to see individuals overcome obstacles, gain insight into themselves, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Knowing that I have played a part in their journey toward healing and self-discovery brings me a profound sense of fulfillment and purpose.
