Hey!

I'm Jaanvi, a counseling psychologist (M.Sc. Applied Clinical Psychology) with 2+ years of experience.

I am dedicated to guiding individuals towards holistic healing and personal growth. With a humanistic foundation, I believe in the inherent potential for self-discovery and empowerment within each person.

My approach integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), empowering you to understand and change thought patterns that may be holding you back, while also fostering acceptance and mindfulness.

I take an eclectic approach, tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or personal transformation, I'm here to provide support, guidance, and practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges with resilience and authenticity.

I will be a great fit for you if you face concerns like anxiety, depression/low mood, self esteem, relationships, adjustment, career, grief and loss, and aging.

It'll get better, just trust the process!

Know More About Me as a Therapist

It's like talking to a friend but the friend is an expert in the field when it comes to giving advice and is unbiased. It's like having a sounding board without the apprehension of being judged.

How I think of therapy

I am an active listener and am non judgemental. I believe that establishing rapport is the cornerstone to a good therapeutic relationship and work hard to make my clients feel comfortable enough to open up and share their story with me.

How I am as a therapist

I have always been fascinated by the human condition - especially the human mind. However, I always noticed growing up that people in India were largely shamed for opening up about their mental health struggles. Having seen people around me go through their battles in silence made me want to make a difference in spreading awareness and helping break the stigma and the large treatment gap that exists in the country. Further, Psychology was my favourite subject in school and the more I studied it, the more I wanted to tread forward in this path. My goal is to make mental health accessible for all.

Why I Became a Therapist

Knowing that you've helped make a positive difference in someone else's life and knowing that someone has put their trust in you to help them navigate life's journey better. It is an extremely fulfilling feeling!
