Hey!

I'm Ashritha, a counseling psychologist (M.Sc. Counseling Psychology), with 2.5+ years and 100+ sessions of experience.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. While my approach is flexible, I lean towards mindfulness and strength-based therapy, recognizing the profound impact these approaches can have on fostering resilience and promoting positive change. My goal is to provide you with the support, tools, and insights you need to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and confidence.

I work with concerns like adolescent counseling, anger management, anxiety, attachment issues, chronic pain, stress, overthinking, and more.

Sitting through a counselling session is not easy. Having said that, I want to acknowledge your courage to seek therapy. It takes immense strength to take this first step.

Know More About Me as a Therapist

Therapy is a process where a trained mental health professional addresses the behavioural, emotional and mental challenges of an individual/individuals. Therapists aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where the client can talk about their concerns, gain valuable insights and learn effective coping techniques.

How I think of therapy

As a therapist, I perceive myself as a compassionate companion on my client's personal journey. I strive to understand their experiences by stepping into their shoes, empathizing, and fostering a warm, genuine connection. My approach focuses on identifying and amplifying their unique strengths, which in turn helps them develop effective coping mechanisms to overcome challenges.

How I am as a therapist

As a therapist, I became involved in this profession due to my own personal experiences and challenges I faced. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the importance of emotional well-being and the impact it has on our overall quality of life. During my post-grad, I was deeply fascinated by the complex nature of human behavior and the ways in which individuals can evolve, grow, and thrive with the right guidance and support. This curiosity led me to pursue this career that holds space for people.

Why I Became a Therapist

Witnessing clients leave the room with a sense of peace and being a part of someone's journey towards healing and self-discovery is truly rewarding. I am grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.
